The Department of Energy has picked a new head of its grid office who previously worked for one of the world’s largest developers of renewable power.
In a LinkedIn post, DOE said Nick Elliot would help lead a team to advance Trump’s energy agenda “with renewed strategic direction.”
The Grid Deployment Office “will focus on strengthening grid reliability, security, and affordability for the American people,” the posting in late March said.
DOE also named former Department of Agriculture public relations specialist Joe Alexander as chief of staff in the office and Tina Francone, former chief operations officer at Save Our Grid, as a senior adviser.
