House committees are expected to begin voting on parts of budget reconciliation legislation next week. However, major energy and environment issues may take more time to settle, with markups in the Natural Resources and Energy and Commerce eyed for the week after next.
“I think they’ll get there in the end,” Andy said about the prospects of Republicans turning their bill into law despite tight margins in both chambers and deep divisions.
