The COP30 international climate summit is about to get underway in Brazil as the United States pulls away from the Paris climate agreement. Not only that, President Donald Trump has urged global leaders to stop worrying about climate change.

E&E News climate editor Evan Lehmann and reporters Sara Schonhardt and Amelia Davidson offered details on what to expect during the meetings and whether congressional lawmakers are attending, and on logistical issues.

The possible lack of participation from the Trump administration, coupled with other nations moving to limit their commitment under Paris, could make the meeting particularly challenging.
