The Senate adopted a resolution Thursday afternoon containing dozens of President Donald Trump’s nominees, including for the Interior and Energy departments.
The adoption is a key step in the relatively new process of confirming lower-level nominees en-bloc. More votes are still needed before the picks can be confirmed.
On the list are Kevin Lilly to become assistant Interior secretary for fish and wildlife; William Hague to become assistant Interior secretary for insular, international and ocean affairs; and Kaveh Farzad to become assistant Energy secretary for international affairs.
Also advancing is Cameron Hamilton, nominee to lead the Federal Emergency Management Agency, who would take over during the middle of hurricane season.
