An EPA charter employee has joined other agency alumni at their own law firm.

Len Miller has joined Earth & Water Law as a partner, the firm announced Monday. Miller began his career at the National Air Pollution Control Administration and was then part of the first batch of staffers to start EPA more than 50 years ago.

Brent Fewell, E&W Law’s founder and chair, said in a statement Miller has been “both a problem-solver and public servant” during “an illustrious career.”

“We are excited to have Len join the firm and provide our clients with practical and actionable advice, particularly during this time of increased regulatory and economic uncertainty,” said Fewell, who served as principal deputy assistant administrator in EPA’s water office during the George W. Bush administration.
