Former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre blasts Democrats, Republicans and members of the press corps that covered her in a memoir published this week.

Jean-Pierre, a longtime Democratic insider who served all four years in the Biden White House, this week published a new book, “Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines.”

She declares that she’s officially breaking from the Democratic Party, “whose leadership has been so incredibly disappointing in the way it treated [Joe] Biden, in the way it quietly hazed [Kamala] Harris, and more recently, in the way it has responded to the Republican assault on our democracy in a shockingly weak manner.”

In addition to her criticisms of Democrats, Jean-Pierre’s memoir also heaps criticism on President Donald Trump, who she says plunged the country “into chaos” and selected “some of the most unqualified picks in memory to cripple departments.” And she assails Elon Musk for his early moves “to fire tens of thousands of federal workers.”
