A longtime communications strategist specializing in energy issues has landed at the Trump EPA.
Dipka Bhambhani is a senior adviser in the agency’s public affairs office, having started there last month.
The Trump administration continues to build out its top-level staff ranks at EPA as it dramatically reshapes the agency while pressing ahead on the president’s deregulatory push against air, climate and water rules. By scaling back regulations, President Donald Trump also hopes to boost production of fossil fuel energy within the United States as part of his “energy dominance” agenda.
EPA spokesperson Carolyn Holran said of Bhambhani, “Her experience will be a boon to the agency as we work to advance our core mission of protecting human health and the environment while Powering the Great American Comeback.”
