Two former top House Natural Resources Committee staffers are starting a communications and lobbying shop — at a time when the GOP is trying to dismantle the Democrats’ climate wins.
Lora Snyder and Lindsay Gressard — who served as the staff director and communications director under former ranking member Raúl Grijalva of Arizona — announced Tuesday their new firm, Snyder Gressard Strategy, would help organizations of all sizes engage in the legislative process.
“The current political environment demands trusted partners to navigate unprecedented complexities, and we are excited to bring our experience, energy, and expertise to the table,” Snyder said in a statement.
Snyder has spent about seven years on Natural Resources — recently leading the committee at a time when Democrats and the Biden administration secured some of the biggest environmental wins in recent memory.
