A former top Interior Department official from the Trump administration is lobbying for a handful of energy companies.

Adam Suess, who was once the top Interior official overseeing energy matters, has been working in recent months on behalf of oil and natural gas trade group the American Petroleum Institute.

Suess has also been lobbying for Polar LNG, which hopes to build a liquefied natural gas exporting facility in Alaska; truck stop chain Pilot; and Enercon Services, an energy project engineering firm.

Squire Patton Boggs, the firm where Suess has been a principal since February, disclosed the lobbying contracts in Tuesday’s filings. Those four companies are all new clients for Squire Patton Boggs.
