Marcus W. Robinson joined the Democratic National Committee as a senior spokesperson.

The Democratic National Committee has hired a former Senate press secretary as a senior spokesperson.

Marcus W. Robinson, who served as a press secretary for the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, started his new position this month, he posted on LinkedIn.

“From historic infrastructure investments to groundbreaking climate action, Democrats have proven that we are the party of meaningful, people-powered change,” Robinson wrote. “With so much to run on and so much at stake, I look forward to helping re-elect President Biden while protecting our Senate majority and flipping the House back to Democratic control!”
