Former Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm has joined the advisory and lobbying firm DGA Group, as a senior counselor.
“Secretary Granholm brings extraordinary insight into how government and industry can work together to unlock innovation and long-term growth,” DGA Chief Executive Edward Reilly said in a statement. “We are delighted to welcome her to our DGA team.”
Granholm, previously a two-term governor of Michigan before joining former President Joe Biden’s Cabinet, will advise multinational corporations, investors, as well as energy and infrastructure firms, according to the firm, and will not register to lobby. In particular, the firm’s statement highlighted nuclear, grid modernization, supply chain resilience, data centers and “cross-border dynamics.”
Granholm said she was pleased to join DGA, which calls itself an “expert-led advisory firm,” at a time of rapid transition. The firm, which has an office on K Street, was formerly known as Dentons Global Advisors.
