A climate advocacy group is zeroing in on 10 Republicans to target in the fight to save the Democrats’ climate law.

The group Climate Power, which supports Democratic policies like the Inflation Reduction Act, released a report Tuesday crediting the law for project announcements expected to create more than 400,000 jobs — mostly in red congressional districts. Moreover, half the top 10 states for cleaner energy like wind, solar and hydrogen are under Republican governors.

The announcements amount to “the highest levels of factor construction in American history,” the report reads.

“These jobs are building up entire supply chains here at home. These are no longer novel industries; they are growing to scale, allowing prices to fall dramatically, and saving Americans money on everything from utilities to their next car or truck,” the document says.
