Leaders of big environmental organizations gathered on a Zoom call Tuesday to dissect the Trump administration’s Day 1 energy and climate actions.
It felt familiar to Margie Alt, director of the Climate Action Campaign.
“To be honest, this is a little bit like déjà vu all over again,” Alt said. “About eight years ago, we held an event a lot like this, when we said we would fight against rollbacks of clean car standards and pollution standards on power plants, and we would pledge to keep fighting, fighting, fighting, for more climate action.”
“And here we are again,” she said.
