A new organization tied to the environmental group RMI launched Monday to power major areas of the global economy, like artificial intelligence computing and semiconductor production, with “advanced energy technologies.”
The New Energy Industrial Strategy Center will focus on the U.S., U.K., Europe, India and Brazil, RMI said in a news release.
In the U.S., the group will prioritize manufacturing, permitting, electricity demand increases, low-emissions hydrogen and other topics.
Sarah Ladislaw, an RMI managing director who served in the Biden administration, said the strategy center will publish policy advice, while also “working closely with the private sector.”
