The League of Conservation Voters Action Fund on Friday released the group’s first-ever guide to help voters easily find climate-friendly candidates up and down the ballot.
Craig Auster, the group’s vice president of political affairs, said the Climate Candidate Guide would showcase politicians like Kirsten Engel, a former EPA and Earthjustice staffer who is looking to unseat Arizona Republican Rep. Juan Ciscomani.
“This is the most important election of our lifetimes and voters need to know which candidates are going to champion climate action, promote environmental justice and protect our democracy,” said Auster.
LCV and its affiliates recently committed to spending $155 million during this election cycle, and a significant amount of that is to boost Vice President Kamala Harris in her bid for the White House.
