President Donald Trump’s so-called DOGE operation is accepting online applications for employees willing to “work long hours identifying/eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse.”

The online job application was posted on the doge.gov website and on social media by an account that appears to be linked to the Elon Musk-led government downsizing operation.

The application comes after the Trump administration formally launched its Department of Government Efficiency with an executive order signed on Trump’s first day in office.

The job application also comes as the administration is firing inspectors general across the government whose job is to combat waste, fraud and abuse in federal agencies.
