The Biden administration rolled out $336 million in federal funds Tuesday to address past and future wildfires across the nation.

The funds will be distributed by the Interior and Agriculture departments, as part of a multibillion effort, with funds drawn from both the bipartisan infrastructure law and the Inflation Reduction Act.

Interior will dole out $236 million in new allocations to support wildland firefighter training, rehabilitate burned areas and invest in wildfire science.
