Energy prices are taking center stage in the New Jersey governor race, as Democratic candidate Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli hammer each other on skyrocketing electric bills that voters are facing just before they cast ballots.

On the campaign trail, Ciattarelli keeps blaming Gov. Phil Murphy and the Democrats for shutting down six power plants during his administration, further exacerbating supply issues that are contributing to increasing costs for ratepayers.
