The CEO of conservative clean energy advocacy group ClearPath is stepping down after a decade at the helm.
Rich Powell will leave the post next month to become CEO of the Clean Energy Buyers Association, the organizations announced. Powell has been ClearPath’s CEO since 2014.
Jeremy Harrell, ClearPath’s current chief strategy officer, will be promoted to CEO. Harrell has worked at ClearPath since 2017 and is currently its chief strategy officer.
“Jeremy knows clean energy technology as well as, if not better than anyone, and will bring his mastery of the policymaking process to lead our incredible team at ClearPath,” Jay Faison, ClearPath’s founder, said in a statement.
