The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee plans to vote on as many as 33 pieces of legislation this week.

The markup comes as members of both sides of the aisle push to pass public land and other resource bills. Chair Mike Lee (R-Utah) has resisted calls for a broad, year-end package.

Lee has promised colleagues to advance measures from both Democrats and Republicans, but that doesn’t mean they’ll reach the floor. It’s also unclear which bills on the agenda will actually get a committee vote this week.

The current list includes S. 1547, the “America the Beautiful Act,” authored by Montana Republican Sen. Steve Daines and Maine independent Sen. Angus King, to reauthorize a major maintenance fund for the National Park Service and other public lands created by the Great American Outdoors Act.
