The LCV Victory Fund is looking to link former President Donald Trump to extreme weather events in hurricane-hit North Carolina and Georgia.

The $1 million campaign from the super PAC affiliated with the League of Conservation Voters comes weeks after Hurricane Helene hit the two battleground states. Climate change spurred by human-induced greenhouse gas emissions, about which Trump has expressed doubt, is believed to be making hurricanes like Helene more severe.

The new ad shows a newborn baby with a series of potential names.
