A prominent environmental group is putting $1.2 million into a series of advertisements criticizing Pennsylvania Senate candidate David McCormick for his opposition to President Joe Biden’s major legislation.

They are the first ads of the 2024 election cycle from NRDC Action Votes, the super political action committee affiliate of the Natural Resources Defense Council.

McCormick, a Republican challenging Democratic Sen. Bob Casey, has stated that he would vote to repeal both the Inflation Reduction Act and the bipartisan infrastructure law.
