The Environment and Public Works Committee plans to vote on a handful of President Donald Trump’s latest energy and environment picks.
On the agenda is Ho Nieh to serve on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He would replace Christopher Hanson, whom Trump fired in June.

During his confirmation hearing, Nieh promised to promote the agency’s independence and safety mission under questioning from Democrats.
