The top officials involved in rebuilding a wrecked highway bridge in Baltimore will brief a Senate committee about the progress during a hearing this week.

Federal Highway Administrator Shailen Bhatt is scheduled to testify Wednesday before the Environment and Public Works Committee.

He’ll be joined by one of the Army Corps of Engineers’ leaders, Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon, and Maryland Transportation Secretary Paul Wiedefeld.
