House Republicans are focusing their efforts on criticizing President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ environmental agenda in a trio of hearings this week.

The simultaneous events in the House Budget, Oversight and Accountability, and Energy and Commerce committees will highlight what the GOP sees as problematic aspects of the administration’s record, less than two months before the election in which Harris is running to be president against former President Donald Trump.

“During the 118th Congress, the House Oversight Committee has examined crises originating from the Biden-Harris Administration’s policies and poor leadership that are hurting Americans across our nation, including skyrocketing inflation, the worst border crisis in American history, high energy prices, chaos around the world, and rampant waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement at federal agencies,” Oversight Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) said.
