The Senate on Monday confirmed Rebecca Taibleson to the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals after some outside opposition from Trump loyalists.

The chamber approved Taibleson 52-46 along party lines, making her the fourth of President Donald Trump’s appeals court nominees to be approved. Two more are awaiting floor action.

Taibleson has worked as assistant solicitor general and clerked for the late Justice Antonin Scalia and for Justice Brett Kavanaugh when he was on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. She’s currently assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Some conservatives expressed concern about small donations the nominee made to the Milwaukee Jewish Federation because of the group’s perceived connection to liberal causes. That didn’t stop Republicans from supporting her.
