Senate Republicans Thursday teed up for confirmation dozens of President Donald Trump’s nominees, including for the Energy and Interior departments.
The GOP changed the chamber’s rules last year to allow for the en bloc consideration of many nominees at once. That has allowed the party to periodically fill dozens of vacancies.
On the latest list are Kevin Lilly to become assistant Interior secretary for fish and wildlife and William Hague to become assistant Interior secretary for insular, international and ocean affairs.

For the Department of Energy, the the nominee list includes Kaveh Farzad to become assistant secretary for international affairs. All three cleared committee this month.
