Senators will travel to Boston this week to get perspectives on renewable energy and the economy.

The Small Business Committee will hold a Friday hearing titled “Small Businesses Powering the Clean Energy Economy.”

The hearing is being convened by the ranking member of the committee, Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.), a long-time climate hawk. It’s part of a week of activities from Markey to highlight the impacts of President Donald Trump’s tariffs.
