The Senate Commerce Committee announced Thursday that it will hold a confirmation hearing next week for President Donald Trump’s pick to head the Transportation Security Administration.

David Cummins is set to testify July 16. He is a former executive at Serco, a government services contractor.

He spoke last month at a confirmation hearing before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee but was one among several nominees who appeared before the panel. He received only a few questions and afterward wouldn’t engage with a POLITICO reporter.
