The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission could lose its quorum if lawmakers don’t act.

The Senate’s first order of business Tuesday will be a procedural vote on David Rosner to be a member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

The chamber may end up confirming the FERC analyst — and detailee to the Energy and Natural Resources Committee — as soon as Wednesday and then take up two other picks for the commission.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) also set up votes last week on Judy Chang, a former Massachusetts energy official, and Lindsay See, solicitor general for West Virginia.

Leaders on both sides of the aisle are keen on confirming the trio before Commissioner Allison Clements’ term expires at the end of the month.
