The Senate is barreling forward with confirming as many administration and judicial nominees as it can before the upcoming August recess.

The panel will hold a hearing this week on Katherine Scarlett to lead the White House Council on Environmental Quality and Jeffrey Hall for assistant EPA administrator to lead the enforcement office.
Hall joined the agency earlier this year as the principal deputy assistant administrator in that office but is now listed as an adviser at EPA on his LinkedIn profile.
