Republicans were overjoyed at President Donald Trump’s enthusiastic energy talk during Tuesday’s joint address to Congress, even as some lawmakers continue to raise concerns with administration officials about his hostility toward wind power.

Leaving the House chamber, several top Republicans said they were pleased with Trump’s emphasis on deregulation, domestic natural gas production, and repeal of an “electric vehicle mandate” and the “Green New Scam,” Trump’s favored rebranding of the Inflation Reduction Act.
