Thune says Republicans nearing list of rules to kill

The GOP eyes using the Congressional Review Act to repeal roughly a dozen Biden rules.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune declared Tuesday that Republicans were eyeing up to 15 late-stage Biden regulations they want to kill through fast-track powers.

“We have 10 or 15 potential CRAs that we’re reviewing and looking at,” the South Dakota Republican told reporters, referring to the Congressional Review Act.

“Which one gets queued up first, it’ll be a function, frankly, in many ways of us working with the White House determining what their priorities are and with the House of Representatives.”

Lawmakers have already introduced several CRA resolutions.
