President-elect Donald Trump named his picks for senior posts at the Agriculture Department and Small Business Administration on Thursday as he moves to fill out his incoming administration.
Trump announced two officials for appointments as undersecretaries at the Agriculture Department, both of whom served during the first Trump administration.
He named Dudley Hoskins as his choice to be USDA’s undersecretary for marketing and regulator programs. Hoskins serves on the Senate Agriculture Committee and worked at USDA during Trump’s first term.
Trump also named Luke Lindberg as his pick to serve as undersecretary for trade and foreign agriculture affairs. Lindberg is president and CEO of South Dakota Trade and served as chief of staff and chief strategy officer at the Export-Import Bank during Trump’s first term.
