President Donald Trump and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum are expected to attend the dedication of the Theodore Roosevelt President Library in North Dakota on Wednesday ahead of its grand opening on July 4.

The celebration in Medora will honor Roosevelt’s “enduring contributions to conservation, public service, American leadership, and the pioneering spirit that remains at the heart of the American story,” the group Freedom 250 announced earlier this month in a news release.

Freedom 250 has been coordinating the Trump administration’s events this summer celebrating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

When asked whether Trump still plans to attend, the White House referred to the group’s news release.
