President Donald Trump has laid out his wide-ranging regulatory plan to sweep away regulations and bolster American industry and fossil fuel energy.

The Office of Management and Budget posted this year’s Unified Agenda on Friday. The document is a detailed outline of federal rules the Trump administration intends to complete in the near and long term.

The regulatory agenda — Trump’s second of this term — follows a first plan released almost a year ago last September. Trump has made deregulation a top priority since his return to the White House, a markedly different stance from the expansive rulemaking of his predecessor, former President Joe Biden.

OMB general counsel Mark Paoletta said in the regulatory plan’s introduction that it will “promote liberty, unleash American energy dominance, preserve products consumers love, and eradicate the ideology of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).”
