ALBANY, New York — President Donald Trump bashed Gov. Kathy Hochul over pending pipeline decisions, linking the lack of new gas infrastructure to high energy prices in the Northeast.

“Governor Kathy Hochul of New York State is killing the entire region with Energy Prices that are OUT OF CONTROL, and expected to TRIPLE because she can’t get an Upstate and, separately, Long Island, PIPELINE built,” Trump wrote Monday on Truth Social.

Pipeline developer Williams Co. has revived two previously rejected pipeline projects with Trump’s support. Hochul has signaled growing openness to new gas infrastructure as she zeroes in on energy costs for consumers.
