President Donald Trump says he’s buying a new Tesla to support Elon Musk.

Claiming that “Radical Left Lunatics” are trying to “illegally and collusively” boycott Musk’s electric vehicle company, Trump pledged to “buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning” in a 12:14 a.m. EDT post on social media Tuesday.

Trump’s purchase, he said, would be “a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American.”
