The Trump administration is bringing in a new top official to lead EPA’s enforcement office on an acting basis.

Jeffrey Hall, previously a partner at Burke Law Group, is joining the agency as principal deputy assistant administrator in its Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, according to an EPA email seen by POLITICO’s E&E News.

Cecil Rodrigues, the office’s deputy assistant administrator for management, told staff in the email sent earlier this week he was happy to welcome Hall to the agency.

“He will serve as the Acting Assistant Administrator while OECA awaits confirmation of a permanent AA,” Rodrigues said.
