The Trump administration is losing another top official to Texas.
Oliver McPherson-Smith, a former energy staffer in President Donald Trump’s administration, is leaving the federal government just two months after Inauguration Day, the White House confirmed to POLITICO’s E&E News on Friday.
“Oliver departed the WH to return to his family in Texas as he plans on growing his family,” a White House official said. “We thank him for his service and wish him well.”
POLITICO first reported the departure Friday.
