EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin is encouraging agency staffers to blow the whistle if they come across abuse and fraud.

The message comes as the Trump administration has targeted what it considers wasteful spending throughout the federal government and sought to cut off those funds.

“Please know there is an open-door policy to communicate with the Administrator’s office,” Zeldin told EPA employees in a Friday internal email obtained by POLITICO’s E&E News.
