A disciplinary panel has recommended that Clark lose his law license for two years. The former Trump Justice Department attorney is trying to move the proceedings to federal court.

A federal appeals court will not reconsider its ruling against former President Donald Trump’s top environmental lawyer in his fight to keep his law license.

In a short order issued Thursday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit rebuffed a request by Jeffrey Bossert Clark to recall a mandate finalizing the court’s decision against moving his disbarment case from D.C. to federal court.

The court also found that because Clark filed a petition for rehearing in his case after the mandate was issued, he had missed the deadline for submitting that request.
