President Donald Trump, in a sweeping “America First” executive memorandum on his first day in office, tasked Cabinet officials with producing a flood of reports that are expected to guide his trade policy for the next four years.
Trump divided the reports between Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, while asking others, such as White House trade adviser Peter Navarro, to weigh in.
