President Joe Biden will meet in Baltimore on Friday with family members of those who died in last week’s massive bridge collapse and receive an update on the response efforts, the White House announced.

The president will join Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg along with federal, state and city officials during his trip, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Thursday.

Biden will meet with loved ones of the six individuals who “tragically lost their lives” in the collapse, Jean-Pierre said. Four of those bodies have not been recovered, but all six are presumed dead.
