Mining and critical mineral issues will be prominent in both the House and Senate this week as committees plan hearings on legislation and to question administration witnesses.

Rep. Pete Stauber (R-Minn.) introduced H.J. Res 140 under the Congressional Review Act, which allows lawmakers to repeal certain administration actions by simple majority. The resolution passed the House last month, mostly along party lines.
