The American Chemistry Council has recruited the lobby firm Ballard Partners to push its transportation agenda.

The chemical industry trade group has recruited the firm to focus on issues related to “safety and security around cargo” and “transportation safety and efficiency,” according to a lobbying disclosure form signed earlier this week.

Brian Ballard, president of Ballard Partners and President Donald Trump’s former Florida campaign manager, and Dan McFaul, a former Hill aide for ex-Florida Republican Reps. Joe Scarborough, Jeff Miller and Matt Gaetz, started lobbying for ACC on Oct. 1, the form says.
