Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont is ready to make a deal on offshore wind. He just wants someone in the Trump administration to pick up the phone.

The two-term Democrat has been pushing the Interior Department to lift its stop-work order on Revolution Wind, a $6.2 billion project off the Connecticut coast that is 80 percent complete.

“We’re happy to open up the conversation to other sources of energy, including natural gas,” Lamont said in an interview Wednesday.
