The Department of Energy is already working on selling Venezuelan oil following President Donald Trump’s decision to invade the country and capture its leader.

Oil and gas reporter Shelby Webb explained what is happening with Venezuela’s oil and the administration’s immediate plans as companies ponder whether to invest in the South American nation.

“That could really be a boon for companies that are willing to take the risk and go in there,” Shelby said. “But so far we’re not seeing a lot of people willing to jump in with both feet to try to start producing more and working in the country.”
