The Senate will return this week ready to vote on two more of President Donald Trump’s appeals court nominees, as committees prepare for a flurry of hearings on more picks.

The chamber on Monday will advance Eric Tung to serve on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which often rules on energy and environment matters.

A final vote is also expected this week on Joshua Dunlap to serve on the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Tung and Dunlap would become the fifth and sixth appeals court appointments of the second Trump administration.

Awaiting floor consideration are seven nominees approved last week by the Environment and Public Works Committee, including picks for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and EPA. It’s unclear whether Senate leaders will consider them individually or as a bundle, under new rules.
