EPA is seeking to fill out its advisory board for historically Black colleges and universities as the agency drives forward on its latest recruitment drive.

EPA has invited applications for appointment to its Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions Advisory Council, according to a notice published Monday in the Federal Register. Members of the group will provide recommendations to the EPA administrator to help diversify the agency’s workforce and support the schools so they can thrive in the future.

EPA under the Biden administration has been on a hiring spree, looking to bring on hundreds of new employees again this year, and has pushed to onboard staff from every community in the United States.
